FastBucks

Formerly called ‘Big Pimpin‘ for several seasons, the team have had some new additions to the roster, and as such, felt an overall team update was needed to freshen things up. Rebranded as the ‘FastBucks’, a throwback to the teams punishment for striking out at tournaments, (you have to take a shot of Buckfast Tonic Wine!), the FastBucks are excited to see what they can bring to the league!

CSC Chaos

CSC Chaos were a brand new team in the league for 2022. We began as a kids baseball and softball club through Carolside Sports Club. Enough parents stayed and enjoyed the game for us to form an adult team. The kids team is still going strong as well. We train every Sunday at Williamwood High School.

Fockers

The Fockers were born in 2005 as an expansion team playing in the then newly formed division 2 under the auspices of the BT Bombers. Once most of the corporate players had left and been replaced, the team changed its name to the Fockers, purely for the ability to put funny names on the back of our shirts. The Fockers did well in division 2, winning at least once, before the leagues merged. In the current league, the Fockers have placed as high as second but typically sit mid table due to rotation of players. We have represented the league in the C Nationals in the last few years where we have not completely embarrassed ourselves. Our current core group of players have been around for a few years now and, barring injury (yeah Alan), we hope to make inroads into the lofty heights of the league.

Honey Badgers

The Honey Badger is the most fearless animal in the world, known for their strength, ferocity and toughness and as the saying goes “Honey Badger don’t care!”, similar characteristics to that of Honey Badgers Softball team.

The Honey Badgers were formed and joined the CSSL in 2012. We are a co-ed team that aims to have a good blend of fun and competitiveness. As well as playing as part of the CSSL we also travel around the UK playing in several weekend tournaments during the summer months. We have a good mix of experienced and rookie players, ages and personalities. We enjoy training as a team, playing tournaments and socialising together so we can develop as a team and have fun along the way. We welcome any player whatever their experience to come and join in.

The team has gone from strength to strength during our short existence and have been competitive and successful within the CSSL and tournaments. We hope to continue this success for the coming season.
